Wrote my first constituent letter today. There was a very long period of confusion when I couldnapos;t figure out what the writer meant by VA. Turned out to be Veteranapos;s Affairs.�

Went to a meeting with a bunch of other new congressional interns. You can completely tell when others are trying to impress others. Maybe impress isnapos;t the right word. More like, tried to look like a hard-working, intelligent, knowledgeable intern by taking notes on everything the lecturer said. When a speaker says, "To find out what events we are hosting, click on the events tab," and everyone writes down�click on events tab for events,�you know that there is either a lack of common-sense or an abundance of intern peer pressure.
